Lists of drugs that prolong the QT interval & increase risk of heart arrhythmia

This CredibleMeds Mobile App supports the CredibleMeds.org website which maintains and posts lists of drugs in categories that reflect their ability to prolong the QT interval on the electrocardiogram and/or cause the life-threatening heart arrhythmia, torsades de pointes (TdP). The CredibleMeds Mobile App was developed for patients, especially those with Congenital Long QT Syndrome (cLQTS), healthcare professionals and research scientists in order to provide them with ready access to the most up-to-date version of the CredibleMeds lists of drugs. For healthcare professionals and research scientists, the QTdrugs Lists can be used to identify which drugs can cause QT prolongation or TdP. The App also provides background information on the categories of drug risk and explains the relationship between QT prolongation and TdP. For patients with Congenital Long QT Syndrome, the drugs and risk categories are described and designated separately as the list of Drugs to Avoid in cLQTS.Minor fix for drugs under review

They need to update and edit!! My children have long qt and i looked up ibuprophen and Tylenol on app. It said both are okay to give. I called a nurse to make sure because I felt like that was wrong. IBUPROPHEN is NOT SAFE! Please be weary od this app. Good idea but it needs to be verified.

This app is totally useless for us as most of our medicine names in South Africa do not feature on any of these lists which is a huge problem.
